Holiday Clothes Haul - Primark!

I went to Primark today, with the intention of picking up a few last minute things for my holidays (I'm going to America for 6 weeks to stay with family). There were so many things I loved and best of all, most of them were in my size (a very rare occassion). 

I bought a variety of items including denim high waisted shorts, a few cropped t-shirts, patterned trousers, gladiator sandals, a high waisted bikini, a BUM BAG (very handy when travelling), a white bra, bright casual shorts, nail varnish, eyelashes - amazing value at £1, and a few other things!

Considering the amount I purchased, I was very pleased when the grand total amounted to only £85! Today was definitely my lucky day. 🍀

My Mum & Steve's Wedding

At the start of the year during a phone call to tell me dinner was ready, my Mum suddenly announced that she and her partner of 10 years, Steve had decided to get married. Initially I was shocked as previously there had been no suttle hints they had any desire to tie the knot. However, after 4 months of solid planning and a constant feel of wedding hysteria swarming around the house, the big day arrived. 

When people say, "It was the best day ever!", they don't always mean it. However, this phrase couldn't be any more fitting to reflect this day. Everything from the guests to the food, the music, the atmosphere, the booze, the dresses and the weather - everything went perfectly. My Mum decided to hold the wedding in the house which looked amazing. We had a huge marquee in the garden set up with tables which were attended to by our very own waiters and waitresses. It was a spectacular day that we will still be talking about in years to come.

My first blog post...

Only recently have I become interested in blogging, slightly inspired by my best friend Lyndsey who is completely obsessed with the whole thing! I now recognise that blogging is an amazing way to share photos, experiences and events with people who may share an interest. I hope (with the help of Lyndsey) to update my blog regularly with the ongoings in my life, entertaining or not!
